金秋送爽，丹桂飘香。一年一度的中秋传统节日又要如期而至了，为了让孩子们通过活动了解中秋节的风俗和知识，以及感受现代中秋节所特有的艺术性。9月28日、29两日，维多利亚幼儿园全园上下沉浸在节日的欢乐与幸福中。各年级组分别开展了丰富有趣的“童心向明月”中秋主题系列活动。
Autumn is here and bring a cool crisp feeling after the hot summer. This bring the Mid-Autumn Festival and our children have been learning about the customs and traditions of the holiday. On September 28th and 29th our kindergarten took part in different activities to celebrate the joy and fun of this holiday.
托小班宝宝们很多都是第一次在幼儿园过中秋节，都带来了各式各样的月饼，大家一起切一切、尝一尝，还记得开学时哇哇啼哭的他们吗，现在各个吃的可开心呢！
For many of our PreK and K1 children, it is their first time in school and their first mid-autumn festival with us! Just weeks ago, they were nervous about their new life in school and today they happily made mooncakes together.
中班年级组开展了有趣的中秋节手工，有小兔子、中秋节习俗海报，大家身着中国传统服饰，讨论着有关中秋节的民风民俗，不亦乐乎！
Our K2 children used their skills to create beautiful hand crafts of rabbits and mooncakes. They happily worked together as they wore their traditional clothes to school.
大班的老师和哥哥姐姐们亲自动手制作好吃的月饼，和面、包馅，压印图案，哇，好漂亮的冰皮月饼呀！不一会儿教室里弥漫了月饼的香味，自己做的月饼是如此的美味！孩子们吃着漏出了阳光般的笑容。
Our friends in K3 made delicious mooncakes in their classroom with their teachers. After rolling out the rice dough, they filled their mooncake with delicious red beans before stamping it with a flower pattern. We loved making this yummy, happy treat today!
这是一次有意义的中秋节活动，小朋友们在动手操作中探索，在分享中体验人与人交往的快乐。真正体会到参与是一种快乐，创造是一种享受，合作是一种幸福，更重要的是了解了中国的传统文化和风俗，在此维多利亚幼儿园祝大家中秋节快乐!
Through this hands-on exploration of the customs and culture of the festival our children could learn more about the holiday. Through their creativity, kindness and curiosity our little learners now understand more and more about the mid-autumn festival.
