哥伦比亚大学早期阅读项目是以幼儿的生活经验为主题, 以可推测、可模仿的语言为特点、以培养幼儿的阅读兴趣、阅读习惯、阅读能力为目标,让幼儿学习不同的阅读和写作技巧,从而使幼儿在阅读和书写时充满自信。
Our school implements the Teacher's College Reading and Writing Project to support our language curriculum. It is a literacy program from Columbia University that supports the students' development in reading and writing. The program uses the workshop model; this model teaches the students important reading and writing strategies and then gives an opportunity for the students to use them independently with one to one support. We are happy to see that the Reading and Writing Project has set students up to be confident and enthusiastic readers, writers, and inquirers.
