How we organize ourselves

Transportation exploration


A sudden epidemic swept across before the starting of this school term.In March, the situation in Suzhou and surrounding cities was complicated.We were planning to resume classes,but then urgently pressed the pause button. We called on parents and children to continue keeping well in epidemic prevention and control, and at the same time guided children's home life, and led parents to accompany their children with high quality.

开学前一场突如其来的疫情席卷而来,原本复课的我们紧急按下了暂停键。我们呼吁家长和小朋友们持续做好疫情防控不放松,同时做好幼儿居家生活引导,引领家长高品质地陪伴孩子。

Lsolating the virus cannot isolate our love and companionship. In home life, our teachers and children had the "accompany in the cloud". We started the exploration of transdisciplinary themes and discovered the secrets of the transportation system together.

隔离病毒,隔离不了我们的爱和陪伴。在居家生活中,我们的老师和孩子们“云端相伴”,开启超学科主题探究,一起发现交通系统的秘密。

Pre-assessment


   The transportation system plays an important role in people's daily life and modern social life. The children listed a wide range of transportation in the questionnaire.Then, in the video call, we worked together to find out which were vehicles and which were not.

      交通系统在人们的日常生活和现代社会生活中具有不可忽视的作用。小朋友们在《调查表》中列举了许多交通工具。在视频连线中,大家一起来找出哪些是交通工具,哪些不属于交通工具。

The kinds of cars compete greatly

 The children actively explored and made a different sort of transportation through painting or origami. Then, shared and displayed them online. 

      小朋友们积极探究,通过绘画或折纸方式制作了各种各样的交通工具,并在线上进行分享展示。

怪汽车


The Strange Car

   In the picture book story of "The Strange Car", little animals put wheels on the house, and the house turns into a vehicle! In addition to the story, the children made their own ‘strange cars’ out of bananas, radishes, and pumpkins etc. 

    《怪汽车》的绘本故事里,小动物们给房子装上了轮子,房子就变成车辆走起来啦!故事外,小朋友们用香蕉、萝卜、南瓜等等做成了一辆辆属于自己的“怪汽车”。

Changing shapes of cars

  There are many shapes on the car body. Children use their thinking skills to assemble different shapes to make a unique car. 

 车身上有许多形状,小朋友们运用思考技能把不同的图形组装,拼成独一无二的车。

小动物骑轮车


Animals riding a car

 Different vehicles have different numbers of wheels. The children helped the animals to park their vehicles in the corresponding parking spaces, which consolidated their cognition of point matching. 

       不同交通工具的车轮数量也不同。小朋友们帮助小动物把车辆停放到相应的车位上,巩固了对点数配对的认知。

听!是什么车来了?


Hear!What car is it?

 Children listened to the different sounds of vehicles together and identified which type of transportation by hearing. Everyone sang rhymes and played games while driving the car.

     小朋友们一起聆听了车辆不同的声音,通过听觉辨别它们是哪种交通工具。大家一边唱儿歌,一边开着车玩游戏。

纸上的小车也可以动哦

The moving cars on the paper


  Children made a moving car out of paper, wood chips, chopsticks, and other materials. Du-du-du, the car is leaving!

     小朋友们利用纸张、木片、筷子等材料制作了一辆可以移动的小汽车。嘟嘟嘟,小汽车出发喽!

Steam探究---车辆的滑行

Steam curriculum---Sliding of the vehicle


We carried out an exploratory activity for sliding of the trolley sliding. Through the experiment, children found that the moving distance of the car on different materials was different. Then, we explored the secrets of the slope and children have continuously enriched their cognition and become a little "scientist" who was actively inquiring!

我们一起进行了小车滑行的探究活动。通过实验,小朋友们发现小车在不同材料路面上的运动距离是不一样的。我们又探寻了斜坡的秘密,幼儿不断丰富了认知,做一个积极探究的小小“科学家”!

我喜欢交通单元,最喜欢和外公一起做《小汽车与大货车》的活动,还喜欢和妹妹一起在小区里面骑自行车。我认识了小汽车、警车、救护车、飞机、轮船、公交车。最喜欢的交通工具是小汽车、自行车。我还会用彩笔涂画各种交通工具呢。

K1C沈沛霖:

这是我最喜欢的自己制作的小汽车。交通单元我认识了很多交通工具,妈妈也陪我制作了很多交通工具的小玩具。现在我希望和好朋友一起出门比一比谁认识的交通工具最多。

K1A肖承彤爸爸:

果冻在交通单元的学习里,认识了很多生活中不常见的交通工具,也更深入地认识了生活中常用的交通工具。通过这个单元的学习,以及老师分享的儿歌互动游戏,我们也从中了解到果冻最喜欢的交通工具,也看到了果冻对驾驶交通工具有着很强烈的兴趣,而且非常懂得遵守交通规则哦,是个非常有意义的单元。

因为疫情的原因,小朋友们不能回到美丽的校园,但每周一次的师生连线却是精彩纷呈。本月的第一周,我们学习了生活中各种不同种类的车,有些常见,有些很少见。第二周,我们又通过观察车子在不同物体表面的滑行距离学习了摩擦力,对车子的了解更进了一步。这种循序渐进又无痛式的学习体验实在是太棒了!

交通规则作为生活中的常识是很重要的,如果大家都能遵守交通规则,世界将更美好。通过交通主题学习,小朋友不仅认识了很多的交通工具及交通工具的特点,还学习了交通规则的常识,对于交通规则的遵守更是会主动提醒家人!

虽然疫情阻断了小朋友们与同学老师面对面的机会,但是线上老师和同学积极热烈的交流还是让我们感受到了浓厚的学校气氛。杨老师和刘老师时常在群里和小朋友们互动。从疫情以来,陆祎灏小朋友非常细致地研究了各种各样小车子。包括车子有哪些部位,怎么向前行驶的,车子可以分为哪些形状,还尝试着用不同的形状画出了一辆小汽车。
疫情虽然无情,但老师同学之间感情却更深了,现在陆祎灏在家每天都盼着能和老师同学见面。希望疫情早日结束,同学老师能面对面拥抱!
